Associations I affiliate to

These are the associations where I have been learning for a substantial amount of time and that I strongly recommend for serious practitioners.

	São Paulo Tai Chi Chuan Association 聖保羅太極拳協會	I have started my study of Tai Chi Chuan in his branch of the Yang style with Master Salomon Vinitsky (Lalo) in 1993 and have continued ever since.
	Association Nei Lien 内煉協會	I have been studying internal martial arts with John Squier in the Nei Lien association since 1998. Nei Lien provides a strong foundation in chinese martial arts (not only internal), based on the traditional view that the different arts and branches are just different manifestations of the same basic principles.

Known Schools and Associations

These are schools and associations where I did minor studies or are closely related to the associations where I practice.

	Les Arts Classiques du Tao
	Centre Hunyuan France 法国混元太極	I had the opportunity to participate on a workshop on Tai Chi Ruler (太極尺) that left me a very good impression of the school. The main style of the school is Hunyuan Tai Chi Chuan (陳式心意混元太極), a branch that unites Chen Style (陳式) and Xin Yi Quan (心意拳). Had I a bit more availability, I would certainly pursue additional learning there.
	Ma Tsun Kuen Tai Chi Chuan with Professor Patricio Casco	Patricio is a Senior Student of the same master with whom I started learning Tai Chi Chuan in the São Paulo Tai Chi Chuan Association 聖保羅太極拳協會. Beyond Tai Chi he has an extensive curriculum in teaching Physical Education. His experience in both eastern and western bodies of knowledge forms a very contemporary teaching for beginners and experienced students alike.
	White Willow School of Tai Chi	While living in Cincinnati in 1996 I took a few beginner classes in the school. I remember the serious and friendly approach, I am happy to see it is thriving.

Federations, International Associations and Networks

	International Yang Family Association 國際楊式太極拳協會	Created and maintained by Yang Zhenduo and Yang Jun, it promotes the teachings of Yang Chengfu as transmited through the family. Although I am not keen on rankings and competitions, I find it particularly interesting the consolidation of the "standardized" body (for example, in the form movements list).
